Join us as we create a permanent home for one of Ohio University's greatest traditions
Despite a history of excellence that includes marching in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade three times, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, 40 NFL halftime shows, and international performances in Canada, Ireland, Italy and France, the Marching 110 has never had a dedicated practice facility on OHIO’s campus. Until now.
With a foundational gift of $1 million from Marching 110 alumni Shawn and Tracey Hurley, the new Marching 110 Band Practice Facility will be home to Hurley Field alongside numerous features that will be the best of its kind in the Mid-American Conference. It will include the installation of turf to support rehearsals in all conditions, the construction of a director’s tower for adequate viewing of formations, and more.
OHIO’s goal is to complete Hurley Field in time for the Fall 2026 band season. In order to achieve this goal, we need yOU!
Need more incentive? The first 110 donors who support the Marching 110 Band Practice Field Facility with a gift of $110 or more will receive a Marching 110 Tuba Rufus figurine as our thanks!
🥳 Thank you to our 110 community for getting us to our first milestone of 110 donors. The new milestone is 255 in honor of the number of students marching in the band!
