Bobcat Student Orientation
Overnight Lodging
Housing and Residence Life is available to assist with all needs associated with the overnight stay. Duty phone numbers are posted on the entrances to the residence halls.
What to Bring
- Linens
- For Students: Linens are not provided. Bring towels, pillows, and Twin XL sheets/blankets (or a sleeping bag). Limited linens available for out-of-state travelers or those who forget.
- For Guests: A linens package is provided, including sheets, a blanket, a pillow with a pillowcase, and towels. Guests may bring extra pillows or blankets for added comfort.
- Bathrooms
- The residence hall is a traditional-style hall with community bathrooms.
- Suggested Items
- Essentials: Toiletries, personal hygiene items, and medications.
- Electronics: Phone and computer/tablet chargers.
- Extras: Snacks and games/cards for evening social activities.

Visit the Resource Fair at BSO
More than 40 campus programs, services, and select off-campus groups will host tables for students and guests to explore available resources. We strongly encourage participants to attend!

- Day 1: 10:30 P.M. - 12:30 P.M. in Baker Ballroom
- Time for 1-Day Programs
- 3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. in the Baker University Center Ballroom

Post-BSO Modules
After attending your Bobcat Student Orientation program, the next step is to complete the Post-BSO online modules. For students entering in the fall semester, these modules will be available in July. You will receive an email.
