A chemistry minor prepares students with an understanding of the fundamentals of chemistry as well as giving them experience with organic, inorganic, physical, and biochemistry. A minor could help prepare studies for graduate school in the natural sciences or medicine.

Courses & Curriculum
A chemistry minor requires a total of 20 hours. Required courses include:
- CHEM 1510 - Fundamentals of Chemistry I
- CHEM 1520 - Fundamentals of Chemistry II
- CHEM 3050 - Organic Chemistry I
- CHEM 3060 - Organic Chemistry II
