OCOM 8007 - Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship 7


The seventh in a series of longitudinal courses that guides students towards competence in patient-centered primary care. This course helps learners develop the skills needed to lead in health care delivery science, population health, communications, health care team leadership, health information technology and analytics, as well as, patient-centered medical home practice.

Course Outcomes
  • Use IT tools to analyze patient and practice data to improve health outcomes.
  • Use trans-disciplinary teamwork in the care of patients with a variety of diagnoses, complexities and situations.
  • Collaboratively manage and develop caring relationships with a panel of patients.
  • Develop a treatment plan to improve patient outcomes.
