This is a writing intensive course whose topics for student essays will vary depending upon instructor.

Requisites: (PHIL 1010 or 1300) and (Jr or Sr)

  • Students demonstrate writing skills (precision, accuracy, clarity, brevity, and wit) in their writing.
  • Students will be able to write essays on philosophical topics such as the nature of truth, what is the good life, is there a God, why study philosophy?
