Subject: Internship Opportunity

 

Hello Dr. Leinbaugh, Dr. Beamish, Dr. Olsheski, and Dr. Robinson!  You may
remember me as Kristin Taylor, I graduated from the program in 2000.  I am
now the supervisor of the Athens BVR/BSVI offices.  We are looking for
interns and would be open to hosting a student any quarter that you might
have a need.  Due to state budget issues this is an unpaid opportunity at
this time.  I am a CRC, and other program alumni Hanna Jadwisienczak has her
PH. D. and CRC, Michael Blevins is a PCC, and Rebecca Bates has her LSW and
CRC, and we could all serve as supervision for an intern based on the
licensure need.  Of course we would love to have a student do both quarters
of internship with us so that we could maximize their learning curve, but I
am not opposed to an intern for one quarter.  Please contact me if you have
any interested parties or if you have a need for any of us to liaison with
the students to provide information about what we do at RSC and in our role
as Vocational Rehab Counselors.
