Faculty Position - Art Therapy and Counseling
Posted April 1, 2011
Summary
The College announces a search for a full-time, 10 month faculty member to assume teaching and advising responsibilities in its graduate Art Therapy and Counseling Program.  The contract position will begin on August 15, 2011.

Responsibilities
Teaching in the graduate art therapy and counseling program; advising students; participating in committee work; teaching research and directing culminating projects; assisting in curriculum and program development; and fulfilling other customary faculty responsibilities.
Qualifications


 *   Doctorate in Counselor Education/Counseling and Master's degree in Art Therapy
 *   ABD considered
 *   Licensed PCC or license eligible in Ohio, preferably with supervisory status
 *   ATR-BC
 *   Active participation in state, national, and local professional organizations.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills; demonstrated experience working in a diverse community; flexibility and mature judgment; and a commitment to teaching in a challenging, collaborative, and values-based environment with a focus on promoting individual student success.
