Job Information:
The Department of Educational Psychology and Learning Systems (EPLS) invites applications for a faculty position within the Department's Psychological Services in Education (PSE) program. This is a previously advertised position that has been reopened.

The primary affiliation will be with the CACREP-accredited M.S./Ed.S. career counseling specialization, with secondary affiliations with the program's CACREP-accredited Mental Health Counseling program and the APA-accredited Combined Doctoral Program in Counseling Psychology and School Psychology. Qualifications:
Candidates for this position should have an earned doctorate from a CACREP-accredited program in counselor education or an APA-approved program in counseling psychology with an emphasis in career counseling, vocational psychology, or related areas. A prior faculty appointment in a counselor education program is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to research/scholarship, teaching, supervision, and professional development. Current license or license-eligible as a professional counselor and/or psychologist is preferred.

Responsibilities:
The position will involve the following: (a) research/scholarship (b) teaching (c) supervision (d) contributing to the M.S./Ed.S. Career Counseling program, Mental Health Counseling program, and the Combined Doctoral Program in Counseling Psychology and School Psychology (e) serving on graduate student supervisory committees; (f) serving on program, departmental and college committees.

Other:
This is a nine-month, tenure earning position at the assistant professor rank, with possible summer employment. The anticipated start date for this position is August 9, 2011 (fall 2011 semester). Salary is negotiable.
