Please note, presentations will be submitted to multiple certifying and licensure boards, for the State of Ohio and nationally, for approval of continuing education credits.

The Ohio Rehabilitation Association (ORA) and the Ohio Chapter of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP-OH) are joining efforts to put on this year's training conference.  Both organizations have a similar mission to support professionals working with individuals with disabilities.   The conference will be November 1-4, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Columbus Hotel (350 North High Street) in Columbus, Ohio.    
 
This training conference attracts local, regional and national participants from both the public and private sectors, including rehabilitation counselors, vocational consultants, psychologists, supervisors, post-secondary disability providers, nurse case managers, instructors, students, and individuals with disabilities.  
 
Consequently, we are reaching out to past presenters, like yourself, to invite you to consider presenting at this year's joint training conference.  We have appreciated your presentation(s) in the past and would like to ask you to consider presenting at this event.

The Committee is planning on meeting in June to review the presentation submissions and begin creating a tentative schedule.   Programs are scheduled on the basis of submission as well as session topics.  We would like to hear from you by June 1, 2011 if you are interested in presenting.  You can send your submission to us directly or communicate with the Committee Chairs regarding late submission (availability dependent upon number of sessions submitted by June 1, 2011).  We are excited about this joint training conference to offer a more varied and informative selection of programs.  We look forward to hearing from you soon!
