VR counselors
If you know of anyone who is interested in becoming a rehab teacher & mobility instructor Northern Illinois has gotten a $600,000 grant from the Veterans Administration to train rehab teachers and O&M instructors. 
 
They accept 10 people for each cohort which starts in August.  They will have a cohort in August 2011 and expect to have another in August 2012.
 
They provide (Get this!)
All Tuition
All fees
Health insurance
Yearly stipend $5,200.
 
The program is 22 months long and when you graduate you must work for the Veterans Administration for 44 months. One must attend full time and be on campus in DeKalb, IL.
