Dear Colleagues:
It has come to my attention that the notice of the vacant faculty position I sent in mid-August had an incorrect link to our Program website. Please note the correct information below.

Best Regards Steve Brady

Faculty Position Available
The Division of Psychiatry and Graduate Medical Science's Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine Program at the Boston University Medical Campus are recruiting a full-time Counselor Educator for a core faculty position. The successful applicant will benefit from being part of a diverse and collaborative faculty in training master's level counselors [www.bumc.bu.edu/mhbm< http://www.bumc.bu.edu/mhbm
>] and working with diverse populations in an urban medical community-based setting dedicated to providing "exceptional care without exception".
Qualifications include a Doctorate in Counselor Education and licensure or license eligibility as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor or its equivalent. Experience in applied therapeutic interventions and a solid foundation in teaching and supervising graduate-level clinicians are also required. Candidates should demonstrate teaching expertise in at least three of the eight core CACREP standards for CMHC's. Opportunities will also be available to pursue scholarly activities in collaboration with faculty in the Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine Program, and throughout the greater BU Medical Center.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A faculty appointment to the Division of Psychiatry is anticipated. Candidates with diverse cultural backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
Qualified candidates should submit a PDF version of their signed cover letter, CV, and the names and contact information for three recommenders to mhcbmsearch at bu.edu
