*WORK WEEK/YEAR:* Per School Calendar, Negotiated Agreement and Contract

*MINIMUM  REQUIREMENTS:*

·         Valid Ohio Guidance Counselor License

·         Verification of Highly Qualified Status

·         Possess much patience for and enjoyment of children

·         Ambitious, high – energy person

·         Ability to maintain professional conduct, appearance and manner

·         Ability to utilize positive public relations skills

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Knowledge of current guidance practices

·         Life-long learner

·         Vast knowledge of college/scholarship opportunities, and the
communication skills

to get that information out to students

*DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:*

·         Experience working with high school students

·         Experience with supervision of standardized testing

·         Previous experience in providing intervention

·         Familiar with and capable of utilizing computer applications

·         Knowledgeable about Career Education

·         A desire to affect change in the lives of  children
