Some of you may be interested in this free two hour event on June 20, 11-1 pm at the Lodge at Hocking College.
Please see the attachment and RSVP by tomorrow if you are interested. Lunch is provided.
Practicum and internship students, please check with your site supervisors if you may count attendance at this event towards your total hours.

FACT:        Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States, on average there are 121 suicides per day.  For every suicide, there are 25 attempts.

FACT:        Ohio loses between 1,200 and 1,500 citizens to suicide each year, approximately twice the rate of homicide deaths.

FACT:         Education is key to prevention

We invite you to join us for a conversation to discuss the resources available to our local communities to prevent suicide and support family and friends who have lost someone to suicide.
Together we will hear about state resources available to everyone, local coalition efforts and learn about agency Zero Suicide Academy Teams.
