Chairperson, West Virginia University. Department of Counseling

The Department of Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Counseling Psychology in the College of Education and Human Resources at West Virginia University (WVU) seeks a strong leader to serve as Department Chair. This is a tenured faculty position at the rank of Professor or Associate Professor.

Qualifications:

  1.  Include a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in counseling or closely related field;
  2.  Substantial and relevant administrative experience;
  3.  Experience with program and curriculum development;
  4.  Experience managing budgets and personnel;
  5.  A demonstrated commitment to collaboration,
  6.  Interdisciplinarity, diversity and social justice;
  7.  Excellent communication skills and;
  8.  An established record of successful teaching and externally funded research that will merit a grant of tenure at WVU.
