Proposals are open until Aug 15, 2025.

ASGW is a national division of ACA. They pay particular attention to welcoming students to the conference. Currently, the president, secretary, and treasurer are all Ohio University alumni who became involved in ASGW as students.

I strongly encourage all students to consider submitting a proposal to the ASGW conference. From my experience with ASGW, I can say that poster proposals from students are welcomed, but if you have thoughts about proposals in other formats I encourage you to submit.

If you have questions or if you'd like to discuss an idea with me, please email. Groups that you are running during practicum/internship or groups you developed in the group counseling course would make great proposal submissions.
