We are reaching out on behalf of the Florida Counseling Association (FCA) as we prepare for our upcoming 2025 FCA Annual Convention, a premier event uniting counselors, educators, students, and mental health professionals from across the state.  Our convention this year will be Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida at the Westin Ft. Lauderdale Hotel.


We are currently accepting presentation proposals and would be honored if you would share this opportunity with your faculty, graduate programs, and student organizations.


We especially want to encourage master’s level students to participate through poster  presentations, which offer an excellent opportunity to showcase their research, practice-based work, or special projects. Please note that for current master’s students, poster sessions are the only format available for independent presentations without requiring a graduated co-presenter.


The theme for this year’s convention is:  “Rewriting the Self: Navigating Identity, Belonging, and Mental Health in a Society of Expectations.”


We seek engaging, research-informed, and practice-based presentations, both poster and session formats, that explore the complexities of identity development, resilience, community, and professional practice across counseling disciplines.
