With all of the negatives of 2020, we wanted to share some very positive news. The satellite that Ohio University Professors Dr. FrankVan Graas, Sabrina Ugazio and their students Kevin Croissant, Ryan McKnight, Casey Peters and Greg Jenkins have been working on for several years, is scheduled to launch tonight at 9:16 p.m. The OU satellite will be on board the Northrop Grumman Cygnus cargo ship headed to the International Space Station from NG’s Wallops Flight Facility on Wallops Island, VA. This will be the third attempt at the launch, but per Kevin, NASA believes that the issues have been resolved and should be a go tonight. Live streaming is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. Click on the link below to watch it. Fingers crossed for a successful launch and mission. https://www.nasa.gov/nasalive -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
