Happy Sunday! A reminder for those interested in attending The Wildlife Society Conference in Albuquerque (23-27 September 2017). The deadline for submitting abstracts is Monday, 10 April. If you do not have full-blown datasets, there is a request for Research-in-Progress posters, which allows you to showcase your experimental design, study methods etc. The call for abstracts is below http://twsconference.org/call-for-contributed-papers-posters/ For those of you that never attended a TWS meeting, while there are plenty of deer and turkey talks :) , it is a general animal ecology conference, and a VERY quantitative one too. Most of the stats jocks advancing hierarchical modeling, Bayesian stats, spatial stats in animal ecology are usually there, so great learning opportunity (workshops on these topics as well).
