Hi everyone, Sorry for the last minute announcement. Our lab is hosting 2 postdocs from Harvard U this week (Chris Baker and Yuanheng Li) working with me on a biodiversity monitoring project in SW China using eDNA collected from terrestrial leeches. Both are super-modelers, have interesting eco-evo backgrounds, and are here this week through Sunday. They agreed to give short talks on their current and previous work on Friday 30 Dec 3-4 pm in 212 ARC Building; Chris is academic job hunting right now, Yuanheng just secured another postdoc, so both are great resources for those of you who are figuring out next steps in terms of postdoc and faculty jobs. Overall, great people to interact with. We'll head to Jackie O's on Fri at 5 pm, and you're welcome to join and chat it up (unless there is a Beerinar, in which case we'll start in LSB).
