Dear All,

I hope that everyone had a fun and productive summer.


1)      If you have new faculty or students in your department that you think should be subscribed to the email listserve then please send them to the following link where they can subscribe https://listserv.ohio.edu/mailman/listinfo/ocees 
2)      We will have our semi-annual OCCES Faculty meeting on Wednesday, August 28 11:50 am in Irvine 159

3)      We are looking for Ecolunch speakers, please contact Shawn Kuchta - Kuchta at ohio.edu

4)      Joe Johnson and Willem Roosenburg will be providing a weekly readings and discussion course - Seminar in Ecology and Conservation BIOS 6820 - TBA - but please send an email if you are interested so that we may initiate coordination.

5)      Other course offered in BIOS and PBIO of interest to graduate students include:

a.       Core Course Seminar - BIOS 6820 (Miles and Morris plus a host of others)

b.       Population Ecology - BIOS 5770

c.       Plant Population and Community Ecology - PBIO 5350

d.       Aquatic Biology -  BIOS 5310

e.       Ohio Flora - PBIO 5190

f.        Biostatistics II - BIOS or PBIO 8700
