Hello!

I am happy to announce that the OCEES Darwin Lecture for this year is Friday, February 21, from 3–4 pm in Irvine 199.  The speaker is Dr. Janet Browne, a leading Darwin scholar and the Aramont Professor of the History of Science at Harvard University. A reception at The Union will follow, starting at 4:30 pm.

There are some time slots to meet with Dr. Browne. See the attached pdf and email me if you’d like to meet with her.

Here are some general meeting times:

Friday, February 2st.
OCEES coffee (faculty): Life Science Building, room 129, 10-11 AM
Graduate Student Lunch: Life Science Building, room 103, 12-1:30 PM
