Howdy Folks! Here’s the final reminder about today’s event. It will not be on Teams: you’ll have to come in person for the experience. Please join us! And it’s a public talk, so bring all your friends. And come to the reception, too, because I bought an absurd amount of snack food. The Ohio Center for Ecological and Evolutionary Studies (OCEES) is excited to announce Luke Harmon as the 2024 Darwin Lecturer. The Darwin Lecture series is an annual OCEES event that brings to Ohio University eminent scholars to share their research and insights with a broad audience. Dr. Harmon’s research contributions to evolutionary biology, and especially phylogenetic comparative methods, have significantly propelled the field forward, leading to a much richer understanding of the evolutionary processes that have driven adaptive radiation and species diversification.
