Hi OCEES, Please share information on our Bird-building Collision monitoring program! We hope to engage the University in a community science project! Info is below! Click on the link to get started today! * While we hope we don't find dead birds, any birds we recover are frozen then made into museum specimens. * You can find out more about Bird Building Collisions and how to prevent them at the American Bird Conservancy * Get started by signing up to monitor a building on the sign-up sheet then finding your way to Irvine 018 to pick up paper bags. * The bags have information on how to record your data. * If you find a dead bird, please drop it off in the bag that day so we can preserve the specimen. It is important to get the bird into the freezer as quickly as possible. We check the box twice a day! Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks!
