OHIO Business Service Center New OHIO BSC event planning website and info on the use of PCard while traveling

Happy Friday!  I wanted to share a couple of updates that I think you will be interested in.
Firstly, the OHIO Business Service Center has created an event planning page< https://www.ohio.edu/finance-administration/business-service-center/event-planning-support 
> to help facilitate your event planning needs.  Some areas may have event planners that already know these things, but we’ve heard from some of you (Big Shout out to Biological Sciences faculty who brought this to our attention) that this is an area that is hard to know all the “ins and outs”.  While the OHIO BSC only assists with the purchasing portion, we hope this guide helps those of you who may be fully responsible for planning an event.  The event planning site is located under “Our Services” on the OHIO BSC web site< https://www.ohio.edu/finance-administration/business-service-center 
> (ohio.edu/bsc).  This is new for us, so, as always, we would love to hear suggestions and feedback.
On another note, if one of your New Year’s resolutions included staying off the PCard infraction list 🙂, we want to help you!  We’d like to draw your attention to a reminder from the Office of Finance’s Business Matters newsletter.  Please remember that only meals during business meetings can be placed on a PCard when traveling.  All personal meals are reimbursed after travel using per diem.
