
Emily joined the Office of Global Opportunities (OGO) team in July 2018 after working in northeast Ohio. She holds a Master's in Education from Kent State University where she focused on Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel, along with a graduate certificate in the Internationalization of Education.
Serving as the Assistant Director for Global Programs and Systems, Emily supports the development and delivery of OHIO-Credit international and domestic study away experiences. She works closely with faculty to design impactful learning opportunities and advises students throughout the global experience process. Emily also leads OGO’s work in systems management and data strategy, overseeing the office’s CRM Salesforce and data-driven initiatives.
As an undergraduate, Emily studied abroad for two semesters, first in Canberra, Australia and then in Preston, England. She has taken students to Poland and Australia, and supported the Marching 110 during their 2024 London Band Week experience. Her personal travels have led her to Scotland, Ireland and the United Arab Emirates. She enjoys taking road trips in the U.S., her farthest journey taking her to west-Texas and Roswell, New Mexico.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending her time playing board games, baking/decorating cakes, and spending time with her cat, Milo.
