Triathlon Training:Whether you’re interested in getting support to improve your form and have a fun, varied workout or you’re trying to get a personal record at an upcoming competitive triathlon, this class is perfect! This 14-week class allows you to create benchmarks for all three sports (swimming, bicycling and running) and then provides instruction and support so you can improve your form, race time and cardiovascular endurance.
Glove Boxing:This exciting new offering falls somewhere between cardio kickboxing and competitive ring boxing. Participants wear gloves (you can rent ours or bring your own) and receive instruction on proper form and movements. The small class size ensures you get individualized attention from our energetic and supportive instructor. This is an exciting way to augment your current workout routine.
The Great Yoga Wall:Think you aren’t into yoga? Think again! Already a self-described yogi? Then you’ll love this class! The Great Yoga Wall utilizes props, harnesses and straps on a special wall to deepen stretches and take relaxation and muscle activation to a whole new level. Class size is limited to the instructor can provide all participants with safety cues and form correction. You’ll never look at yoga the same way again.
Women on Weights:Aside from providing women with instruction for strength training in the fitness center, this class has helped over 100 women come together and build a safe, supportive community of wellness-minded individuals. Unlike our other group fitness classes-which are taught in our group fitness rooms, the bulk of this class is taught in the fitness center so participants learn how to use the equipment and practice “working in” when equipment is in use by other members.
