Sarah Garrabrant joined Ohio University Lancaster in 2024 as an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Nursing. She brings with her extensive clinical experience and a passion for nursing education, having worked as a full-time staff registered nurse at OhioHealth, where she also played an active role in precepting and mentoring new nurses.
Sarah earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Walden University in 2022, following a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marian University in 2007.
Her background reflects a strong commitment to both patient care and the development of future nursing professionals. At OHIO Lancaster, she is dedicated to fostering a supportive learning environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, critical thinking, and compassionate care.
