Jessica Rutkowski is the Regional Recruitment Manager at OHIO Lancaster. With a strong background in student engagement, leadership development, and strategic communication, she brings a decade of experience in education and outreach to her role in higher education recruitment.
Prior to joining Ohio University in 2025, Jessica served as the Student Life Coordinator at St. Ursula Academy in Toledo, Ohio, where she led student programming and events that fostered community and growth. She also spent over four years with FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students), first as a campus missionary in Michigan and then as a Team Director in Dayton, Ohio. These were roles that deepened her skills in mentorship, event coordination, and relationship building.
Jessica is a proud graduate of Ohio University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism in Strategic Communication, with a minor in Marketing and a specialization in Global and Local Leadership. As a student, she interned with the OHIO Alumni Association and the Knights of Columbus, supporting national communication initiatives and alumni engagement events. She was recognized with several honors, including the Outstanding Senior Award for Student Media Leadership.
