Our Mission and Goals

The Bacterial Pathogenesis initiative represents a group of researchers investigating various aspects of bacterial pathogenesis including but not limited to molecular mechanism underlying virulence genes expression, virulence associated-bacterial processes and host-pathogen interactions.

The mission of the Bacterial Pathogenesis initiative is to foster research in the broad field of bacterial pathogenesis, to promote collaboration within Ohio University as well as with colleagues in other institutions, to train undergraduate and graduate medical students.
