What are you most excited about as you take your next step in your career?

I am super excited to continue to create meaningful connections with patients and continue to grow my knowledge to provide the best care I can for my patients.

If you could go back in time and give yourself advice, what would it be?

Enjoy the process and trust that everything will work out exactly how it’s meant to be!

What led you to a career in medicine?

Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to become a physician. I enjoyed going to my doctor appointments as I always left feeling inspired and considered physicians my role models, and my admiration for these providers only grew as I understood their dedication and sacrifice to help others.

How would you describe your time at the Heritage College?

So much fun! I am truly so grateful for the best friends HCOM gave me. Through every high and low during medical school I truly could not have survived without my support.

Looking back on medical school, what were you most important experiences?

Truly my most important experiences came from making time for my family and friends. Although medical school is demanding it remained important for me to ensure I made time for the things and people I love. From ensuring I was there for my family’s birthday celebrations, our annual medical student cabin trip, and many, many girl’s nights these will always remain core memories of my medical school experience.

Tell us about your inspirations in life.

My family. Making them proud and trying my best to be a good role model for my sisters is what motivates me every day. I also truly look up to both my parents and all three of my sisters who have shaped me into the person I am today.

Who has helped you along the way? Is there anyone you want to recognize?

My parents, Tami and Rob, who have seen every high and low of not only medical school but the long journey to get here and continued to support me not only emotionally, but also financially. My sisters, Marisa, Angelina, and Bella, who always have my back and motivate me every day. I am so lucky to call them not only my sisters but also my best friends. My amazing fiancé, Jack, who has always been so supportive of my dreams, the sacrifices we have both had to make to get here, and always made sure I had a warm meal to come home to after a long day. And lastly, the best friends that medical school brought me: Rachel, Jamie, Lauren, Maddie, Madison, and Jasmine, I would not have survived without your unwavering support and love. I look up to each and every one of you and am so incredibly proud to call you my best friends. Especially my roommate, Rachel, you have been my biggest fan through every accomplishment, and I truly could not have survived without you.

I love to bake, especially breads and cookies! I also love to create and try my hand at a lot of do-it-yourself projects. My adorable dog, Miley, and I like to go on walks and play outside.
