Subject: Don't Forget to Apply for Graduation! - Spring Semester 2023-24
Dear Bobcat,
Did you know graduation is not automatic? You must apply to graduate for your degree, major, minor, or certificate to be awarded, even if you are not planning to participate in a commencement ceremony. The deadline to apply for Spring Semester 2023-24 graduation is Monday, February 19, 2024.
If you plan to graduate this spring semester, or if you plan to finish in the summer semester but would like to participate in the spring commencement ceremony, please apply for graduation as soon as possible. If you do not apply by Monday, February 19, but still need to graduate or participate in commencement, your application will be charged a $100 late application for graduation fine. Alternatively, you have the option to apply next semester and not be charged the $100.00 late fine.
Graduation application fees will be charged to your student account after the successful submission of your application. You may pay fees through your MyOHIO Student Center . Payment is not required at the time of application, but failure to pay any fees assessed to your account could create delays in receiving your diploma.
You may apply for graduation in MyOHIO Student Center . For detailed instructions and other graduation information, please visit the graduation website.
Once you have successfully applied for graduation, you will receive a confirmation number via email. If you have already received an email with your confirmation number, then your application is complete.
