In 2019, the Voinovich School used secondary data to conduct an economic impact analysis for The Wilds Safari Park & Conservation Center, located in Cumberland, Ohio. This study quantified The Wilds’ manifold impacts to Southeastern Ohio, not only through their promotion of wildlife conservation and entertainment for visitors, but also through supporting jobs, both directly and indirectly, in the regional economy.
