Henry Safford Neal letters, 1882; 1886
Scope and Contents
Henry Safford Neal letters contains two handwritten letters. The first is dated December 13, 1882 and is on House of Representatives letterhead. It is addressed to Ben Perley Poore of the Senate Committee for Public Printing. It appears to be a brief personal note regarding his family. The second letter is dated May 29, 1886 and is addressed to Ben W. Austin of Sioux City, Iowa. Neal thanks Austin and Northwestern Literacy and Historical Society for electing him as an honorary member of that organization.
