Honors Tutorial College records

The Honors Tutorial College (HTC) records span from 1939 to 1973 and document the research on, development, and activities of the HTC at Ohio University. Records include administrative office files such as correspondence, program proposals, seminar materials, fellowship information, budgets, course descriptions, memoranda, questionnaires and reports from honors committees designed to investigate potential programs and ideas for the university. Other records include research on women's programs throughout the United States and their effectiveness, the need to continue drawing talented students to Ohio University through programs geared for exceptional students, and education in general across America. There are brochures dealing with the Flint, Michigan Community Project; the Cutler Scholars Program, a leadership and honors program at the university; and the annual Honors Convocation.
