Collection on presidential inaugurations
Scope and Content
The collection on Ohio University (OU) presidential inaugurations dates from 1824, 1839, 1853, 1962, 1976 and 1994 and documents ceremonies inaugurating OU presidents. Represented in this collection are Robert Wilson, William McGuffey, Solomon Howard, Vernon Alden, Charles Ping and Robert Glidden. The collection includes printed programs, greetings from other universities, copies of speeches, invitations, newspaper clippings, correspondence, planning materials, meeting notes and guest lists.
