History of Beckler family
Benjamin Franklin Beckler married Nora King sometime between 1899 and 1914. They appear to have two children: B. F. Beckler, Jr. (BFB), nicknamed Jap, and Peter Beckler (PB). Both sons went into the United States military. PB served in World War II, with documented time in Sicily, Italy and Africa. BFB's wife is Marian. The elder Becklers resided in Carbondale, Ohio. BFB and Marian knew Mrs. R. P. Banks of Athens, Ohio. BFB was and engineer in Athens County and charged with soliciting and accepting bribes around 1940. He and his wife later moved to Arizona.
