#AMSOU seminar
View map Add to calendar

Our guest speaker at the AMSOU Seminar this week will be Delfino Nolasco. He will discuss the connection between skew left braces and set-theoretic solutions of the Yang–Baxter equation.
Abstract: In 2017, L. Guarnieri and L. Vendramin generalized Rump's braces to the non-commutative setting and use skew brace's structure to study not necessarily involutive non-degenerate set-theoretical solutions of the Yang–Baxter equation.
In this talk, we focus on exploring the relationship between skewed left braces and set-theoretic approaches to solving the Yang–Baxter equation.
Place: Morton Hall, 219
Time: Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 4:10 to 5:05 PM
