About this Event
101 University Drive, Chillicothe Ohio 45601
The grant writing workshop is designed to equip participants with essential skills for writing effective grant proposals. Led by S. Kimberly Jones, MAS GPC, the course covers foundational grant writing principles, techniques for using research databases, and an eight-step process for crafting successful proposals. Key sections include understanding different types of grants (government and NGO), tailoring proposals to align with funders’ priorities, and forming partnerships to enhance proposal strength. The course also dispels common myths, teaches participants how to develop compelling narratives, create detailed budgets, and evaluate project success. Additionally, it includes practical exercises and real-world examples, making it ideal for those seeking to enhance their grant writing expertise.
The course is structured to provide both the knowledge and practical tools necessary for securing funding and managing grant-funded projects.
