She has been a news director at more th an five Cincinnati radio stations\, a correspondent for the former National Black Network\, and a freelance journalist for the Associated Press\, Cinc innati Enquirer\, and The Cincinnati Post. She earned a Master's Degree in Human Resources\, Development\, and Training from Xavier University (Ohio) in 2012.
