This is the kick-off event for the Spring 2021 Senior Week, but we encourage all OHIO students, alumni and friends to participate!

Join uplifter, speaker and Ohio University alumnus, Hayden Humphrey, HTC '15, for this session on how to uplift yourself so you can break up with the scripts holding you back and become the creator of your own life.

Most of us will spend most of our lives on auto-pilot. We’ll go through the motions of life, living out a story about what our life is supposed to look like that was given to us at six or seven. This is your Script.

Your Script is the way life is “supposed to look,” what you “should” or “should not be” spending your time doing. And while following this Script might be okay for some, for many it’s keeping us trapped in circumstances that don’t work:

     - Toxic friendships based only on shared history,
     - A job they don’t like but don’t feel like they can leave,
     - An okay romantic relationship that leaves much to be desired.

But your Script is not inevitable. Every day, you have the power to go off Script, to craft an Unscripted life.

One where you spend your days doing work that is fulfilling, exciting, impactful, and pays you what you’re worth.

One where you’re surrounded by friends that are actively pushing you to grow, and don’t let you forget how great you already are.

One where you’ve created a relationship that exceeds your wildest expectations.

One where your days are filled with pure joy, belly laughter, and unconditional love.

This is Life Unscripted.
