College of Fine Arts celebrates OHIO's Black Alumni Reunion with a screening of "Come Walk in My Shoes," a documentary film by OHIO Fine Arts alum Robin Smith, BFA '72.
This event is FREE and open to the public.
“Come Walk in My Shoes” is a 2007 award-winning documentary that follows former U.S. Representative of Georgia, the Honorable John Lewis (January 3, 1987-July 17, 2020) on an emotional pilgrimage to the churches, parks and bridges where young people played a pivotal role in the struggle for equality and voting rights. A special performance by select members of Bella Voce will preceed the screening.
A Q&A session with the filmmaker follows the screening moderated by Gary Kirksey, professor of Visual Communications in the School of Visual Communications, Scripps College of Communications.
