Each fall semester, Ohio University offer an arts-based survivor-centered program. These programs provide an opportunity to: centralize survivor stories in our understanding of sexual, dating, and domestic violence, and stalking; place the onus of prevention to fall on perpetrators rather than survivors; combat rape myths and stigma; and build empathy within our community for survivor stories.

The 2020 fall exhibit, In This Space: Disrupted is an innovative survivor-centered exhibit. Fabric panels, created by survivors, hang from the ceiling - making visible the often-anonymous spaces in which interpersonal violence occurs. Featuring 13 contributors, In This Space: Disrupted names locations of both violence and healing space. Join us in being called to action to support survivors and end violence.  The exhibit will be available for in-person viewing by appointment at Trisolini Gallery August 25-September 12. To view, please contact  kesselc@ohio.edu  and follow @ohiouartgallery on Twitter to be updated on hours and events.

The virtual exhibit will be released the week of August 25th  here .
