\n \n\nCultural Excursions Include:\n\n• Old Quarter of Panama City – tour
and explore the historic old city which includes a World Heritage Site\n• E
mbera Indigenous Tour – take a dugout boat to visit an indigenous village a
nd learn about their unique history\, culture\, and traditions from the Ind
ian Chief\n• Panama Canal – take a guided tour with VIP access to the canal
locks\n• El Valle – Explore the biodiversity of this area which is hidden
in a valley within an extinct volcano crater. You will visit Chorro Macho W
aterfall\, Piedras Pintadas (petroglyphs)\, a local flower and handcraft ma
rket\, El Nispero Zoo\, and a local Orchid Nursery\n\n \n\nCost includes th
e following (billed to your student account):\n\n• Hotel accommodations (2
per room) which include daily breakfast\n• Transportation to/from airport\,
school\, and excursions\n• Entry fees for planned excursions\n• Welcome an
d farewell dinners\n• Tuition for 3-credits\, charged at regional rates\n•
$150 study abroad administration fee\n\n \n\nEligibility & Process:\n\n• Mu
st be an undergraduate education major in good standing\n• Submit a persona
l statement\, resume\, and current DARS\n• A $500 deposit is required and w
