PIN Colloquia are Fridays at 4:10 p.m.\n\n \n\nAbstract: Over the next dec
ade\, neutrino astronomy will probe the rich astrophysics of neutrino produ
ction in the sky\, including neutrinos from the Sun\, core-collapse superno
va (e.g.\, SN 1987A)\, and relativistic jets (e.g.\, blazar TXS 0506+056).
On the observational side of this new era\, the Super-Kamiokande with Gadol
inium\, Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory\, XENON\, and future liqu
id scintillator neutrino experiments usher in a new generation of multi-pur
pose neutrino detectors designed to open new avenues for potentially observ
ing currently undetected neutrinos. This ongoing explosion of activity in
neutrino astronomy powers theoretical and computational developments on neu
trino production in stars. In this talk we'll explore recent results on ste
llar neutrinos that provide new targets for neutrino detectors\, new estima
tes of the stellar neutrino background signal\, and new opportunities for n
uclear physics.\n\n \n\nColloquia are Fridays at 4:10 p.m.
