DESCRIPTION:9/15 Update: \n\nThis week\, the community organizations involv
ed in planning Recovery 360 made the difficult decision to postpone until t
he spread of COVID has been controlled enough that it is safe to host an in
-person event. We have made this decision knowing that while our region is
struggling with the pain and loss caused by substance use disorders\, our l
ocal medical facilities and frontline workers cannot provide adequate care
to those in need if health systems are overwhelmed with patients.\n\nWe rem
ain dedicated to bringing nationally recognized author\, speaker\, and just
ice enterprise founder Becca Stevens to southeast Ohio to share her journey
in creating Thistle Farms. In the meantime\, our planning committee will c
ontinue working to bring educational programming and resources related to s
ubstance use disorders and recovery to the region. We look forward to hosti
ng an in-person event at a future date.\n\nThank you for your patience and
understanding. Stay tuned for future announcements related to Recovery 360.
