About the film:
The story of a 99-year-old National Park Ranger described as “Bette Davis, Angela Davis and Yoda, all rolled into one.” The great granddaughter of a slave, Betty has lived a life filled with painful and often humiliating memories… yet she remains a defiant voice of hope. This documentary chronicles Betty’s urgent mission to use the final years of her life to tell an authentic story of what it means to be black and a woman in the United States.
