BEGIN:VCALENDAR VERSION:2.0 CALSCALE:GREGORIAN PRODID:iCalendar-Ruby BEGIN:VEVENT CATEGORIES:Exhibition DESCRIPTION:Students enrolled in the 2022-23 Museum Studies Certificate Pro gram are pleased to present an opening reception for the exhibition titled Then and Again at Kennedy Museum of Art on Friday\, April 14 from 5:30 – 7: 00 PM. The exhibition will be up through September 11\, 2023.\n\n \n\nThis is the ninth annual exhibition of the Kennedy’s Merging Concepts Series. In spired by two primary objects on loan from the Ohio University Libraries\, the exhibition explores the big idea “Illuminate the realities of the past to connect to the present.” The big idea or concept is supported by additio nal objects and documents from the collections of the program’s partners.\n \n \n\nStudents in this one-year certificate program represent various disc iplines across the Ohio University Athens campus. The students are responsi ble for researching\, selecting\, and interpreting all objects in the exhib ition. They must also plan\, design\, develop educational content\, and ins tall the exhibition. The fall semester is lecture-based while the spring se ssion is a practicum.
