Visitors are encouraged to si gn the guestbook.\n\n \n\nARTIST STATEMENT:\nMy art focuses on the process of making art and the creation of human life. This process is represented t hrough internal and external forces that we as humans deal with throughout our entire life. I create images that progress\, grow and change in recogni zable ways and take on new and imaginative perspectives\, the works evolve into their own existence and often take on figurative representations. Addr essing the philosophical and metaphysical analogies of certain scientific d isciplines\, the works are heavily influenced by geoscience models and cell ular biology. Many works often speak to the constant physical changes of th e earth\, bioethical issues and genetic mapping.\nAs one begins to look clo sely at my work\, a connection emerges between global and human mapping. Ut ilizing software and scientific models as metaphors for place and memory\, the images seek to interpret\, represent and reflect psychological and biol ogical states and processes\, and their breakdown.
