Emotional Intelligence is described as the ability\, capacity and skill to identify\, assess\, and manage emotions in a given si tuation. During this workshop\, participants will learn to contribute to gr oups in an emotionally intelligent way and become more self-aware through " pair-and-share" active listening activities. \n\n \n\nThis workshop is par t of the CLDC's 21st Century Leadership Program . To complete this program\ , students are challenged to complete the three leadership development work shops listed below\, in addition to one or more 30-minute leadership coachi ng sessions. Students can schedule leadership coaching through Handshake. T he 21st Century Leadership Program is free and does not require workshop re gistration.
