MATH 102 - Elementary Algebra
A developmental introduction to algebra. Topics include operations on real numbers, linear equations and systems, factoring, rational and radical expressions, and quadratic equations. A maximum of 8 credit hours of developmental courses may be applied for graduation. Meets no other college requirement. No credit to student who has passed a higher-level mathematics course.
Prerequisites: C OR BETTER IN MATH 101 OR PLACEMENT LEVEL DEV2 & NO CREDIT IF MATH COURSE ABOVE 102
Credit Hours: 4
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken 4 times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
